Bookkeeping prices are dependent on the volume of transactions and are by monthly subscription.

Prices include:

  • Monthly transaction allocations from the bank feed
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Invoice and expense matching
  • Monthly management reports – including complementary Zoom meetings for each of the first three months on how to read them and what to look for
  • Monthly depreciation entries where required
  • Monthly allocation of interest on loans where required
  • Monthly estimate of how much money to set aside to cover future income tax, GST and payroll obligations

All bookkeeping uses Xero and Hubdoc receipt capturing software.

Bookkeeping prices do not include Xero subscriptions. This can be added to your bundle for convenience, or you can subscribe directly with Xero yourself. The cost to you is the same either way.

Hubdoc is included with Xero for free, on Starter plan and above.

  • Lodging Single Touch Payroll (STP) with the ATO

Purchased hours do not expire, and can be used however and whenever you like.

Questions, queries and all other ad-hoc work is charged at $220.00 per hour if a support package has not been purchased or included in a monthly subscription.

This is an estimate of your group’s tax position for the year, and is usually done in April or May. It can be very helpful for budgeting and planning purposes, and to determine what can be done prior to year end to reduce your tax amount payable.

Tax planning is strongly recommended for those with trusts, as trust law requires distributions to be determined prior to 30 June each year (ie, how much profit is distributed to each beneficiary). Tax planning is recommended prior to drafting the annual distribution resolution, to determine the optimum distribution amounts and keep tax paid across the group as low as possible.

  • Options for legally keeping tax payable across your group to a minimum
  • Comprehensive report
  • Zoom or phone meeting to discuss available options and scenarios

QBCC requires a Minimum Financial Report to be prepared by an accountant where you want to:

  • Apply for a licence
  • Increase your maximum revenue
  • Decrease your minimum net asset requirement

The Minimum Financial Report must be accompanied by financial statements that are less than four months old and prepared in accordance with accounting standards. So, depending on the time of year, interim financial statements may be required to be prepared.

  • Setup company, trust or both (as required), including all corporate documentation
  • All ATO registrations as required (TFN, ABN, GST, PAYG Withholding, Fuel Tax Credits)
  • New business startup checklist and timeline – so you know exactly what needs to be done over the first 12 months and when
  • Xero file setup

All monthly packages include 5 hours per year support via email, phone and Zoom to use as you like, for questions, queries and other ad-hoc requests. More hours can be added to your package or purchased as you go.
